The Koret School Museum of Local Lore, located in the village of Koreti, Sachkhere municipality, is a historical museum founded in 1948. The museum is located in the building of the Koret Folk School and has the status of a school museum. The museum's collection includes a rich array of archaeological materials spanning the Stone Age, the Copper-Bronze Age, and the feudal era. In addition, the museum is proud of the presence of paleontological, mineralogical, ethnographic and numismatic exhibits. The collection also includes manuscripts and ancient printed books, as well as materials on traditional medicine. The museum actively supports educational activities through the profile of the school museum. Every day, except Saturday and Sunday, the museum is open to the public from 10:00 to 16:00. The entrance is free. In addition, the museum hosts educational programs, including open classes and creative evenings, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the history and culture of the region.
