Constructed from cut white stone on limestone, Ilemi Church is visually impressive with its exquisite architecture. However, its real beauty is revealed inside, where the interior is decorated with unique frescoes, accompanied by ancient asomtavruli inscriptions - a testament to the traditions and faith of the time. The surroundings of the church are no less impressive. From the west it is surrounded by a two-story bell tower with arches, serving as a kind of vestibule before the entrance to the temple. Originally, the eastern façade was divided by three arches, creating a majestic visual impression.
