Egnate Ninoshvili Memorial Museum

Located in the picturesque village of Archeuli in the Lanchkhuti municipality, the Egnat Ninoshvili Memorial Museum was founded in 1948. This museum, a non-profit organization, is an important cultural center that provides visitors with a glimpse into Georgia's rich heritage. The museum is located in a house that was built in 1880 and belonged to Egnat Ninoshvili, an outstanding Georgian writer of the 19th century. Among the museum's exhibits are more than 5,800 items, including Ninoshvili's personal belongings, his manuscripts, works of art, as well as ethnographic exhibits that provide a deeper understanding of the cultural history of Georgia. The museum is open to the public daily from 10:00 to 18:00. Tickets are available at a very affordable price: for schoolchildren and students - only 0.50 GEL, and for adults - 1 GEL. Children under 6 years old, museum employees, people with disabilities and refugees can visit the museum for free. The museum actively participates in cultural life, offering various exhibitions and educational programs such as “My Region” and “We and Egnate”. These programs promote a deep understanding of local history and culture. The museum also attracts the attention of the cultural community with its publications, including works by Z. Tugushi and books dedicated to Ninoshvili and Georgian culture.
