Batumi Oil Terminal LLC (BOT), managed by KazTransOil JSC, a subsidiary of KazMunayGas NC JSC, is a key player in the field of transshipment of petroleum products in Georgia. Since its establishment in February 2008, BOT has played an important role in facilitating international trade and logistics in the region.

Located at a strategic location on the Black Sea coast in the city of Batumi, BOT provides transshipment services for crude oil and petroleum products, mainly from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Georgia. The terminal occupies an area of 81 hectares, on which there are five tank farms and an oil loading complex, providing flexibility in the storage and transshipment of a wide range of oil and petroleum products.

The main section of the terminal includes railway overpasses, a quality control laboratory and a boiler room for heating dark petroleum products. The terminal has the ability to transship up to 22 types of oil and petroleum products, and is also equipped with six railway overpasses capable of simultaneously unloading/loading more than 410 tank cars per day. A pipeline system connects all racks to various tank farms, providing operational flexibility to the terminal.

Currently, BOT operates five oil depots, including 132 tanks with a total nominal capacity of 527 thousand m3, providing services for receiving, storing and loading petroleum products. Thanks to its modern facilities and strategic location, BOT is an important component in the supply chain of petroleum products in the Black Sea region.
