Wall graffiti with agave in Ozurgeti is the original work of artist Kuba Ulba
- Description
A bright and expressive street graffiti depicting an agave has appeared on one of the buildings in Ozurgeti. The author of the mural is Spanish artist Kuba Ulb, who worked on the project in 2024 as part of the city's art program.
According to the artist, the idea arose from his observations of urban flora: "Walking around Ozurgeti, I noticed that a lot of agave grows everywhere - from sidewalks to people's gardens." Although the reference for the drawing was made in Barcelona, the choice of the plant became a link between Kuba's personal memories and the nature of Georgia.
In his understanding, agave is an almost spiritual creature, with its own cycle and character. This mural is not just a decorative painting - it is a life story rooted in the land and culture, which now adorns the facade of a residential building in Ozurgeti.
