Foe-Foe restaurant is a new establishment in the center of Kutaisi, just a few minutes from the Colchis Fountain and the White Bridge. At first glance, the cozy interior and convenient location promise a pleasant dinner. But in fact, the visit left mixed impressions - the atmosphere captivates, but the service and presentation of dishes raise questions.

What we liked

✅ City center: convenient location - next to the Europroduct store, the main attractions of Kutaisi are within walking distance.

✅ Beautiful interior: each room is decorated in its own way, I especially liked the oriental room with a sofa, where you can relax and drink tea.

✅ Balcony and coolness: in the summer heat, a light breeze from the river is felt on the balcony, it is also comfortable inside - not stuffy.

✅ Fresh products: the dishes are prepared "from under the knife", and this is really felt.

What could be improved

⚠️ Very long service: Adjarian khachapuri, pasta and French fries were brought for 45 minutes, while the hall was almost empty.

⚠️ Serving in parts: dessert was served first, coffee 20 minutes later, and only then the main course. As a result, guests ate in turns.

⚠️ Ignoring guests: dirty dishes were not cleared until they were told to do so. Waiters did not take the initiative.

⚠️ No Russian language: the staff does not speak Russian, the menu is only in Georgian and English. For a tourist place, this is a minus.

⚠️ Overpriced: similar dishes can be found cheaper in neighboring establishments - without losing taste and quality.

⚠️ No warning about the delay: no one said that the wait for the dishes would be long. Only after our question - an apology.

💡 Check the time of serving dishes immediately after ordering.

💡 Use a translator - there is no Russian-language menu, and this can make it difficult to choose.

💡 On a hot day, choose the balcony - it is really nice there.

🛠 Improve the level of service: train the staff in communication and monitor the tables.

🛠 Add a menu in Russian - especially considering the flow of Russian-speaking tourists.

🛠 Objectively review the prices - now they do not correspond to the level of cuisine and service.

🛠 Warn in time about the wait, especially if the kitchen is slow.

    Интерьер действительно красивый, еда свежая, но ждать заказ 45 минут — это слишком. Цены тоже кусаются, а сервис почти отсутствует. Не знаю, стоит ли туда возвращаться.

    Спасибо за честный обзор! Очень зацепил момент с ценами и качеством. В Кутаиси обычно радует соотношение «вкус–стоимость», а тут получается обратная ситуация. Создаётся впечатление, что кухня и зал работают «каждый сам по себе».Особенно обидно, когда интерьер обещает уровень, а сервис и кухня не дотягивают.
