The garden of the Honored Artist of Georgia Mikheil Mamulashvili in Mtskheta is an amazing place that embodies the many years of passion and talent of its creator. Mikhail Mamulashvili, who devoted his life to gardening and the art of landscape design, created here a unique space where every bush and every plant takes on a special meaning and place.
The garden is located on a rocky plot that Mikha Mamulashvili acquired in the 20s of the last century. Here he lived until his death in 1973, after a hundred years of life, which was suggested by a tombstone next to a huge peony bush. After his departure, his daughter took care of the garden, and now his great-grandson takes care of the preservation of this green corner.
This garden is not just a place to relax, but a real laboratory of nature. Here you can see double tulips, phlox, irises, lakes of succulents and amazing compositions of honeysuckle and other plants. Every corner of the garden is filled with warmth and love that the master put into it.
A small museum has been created especially for visitors, where you can get acquainted with the legacy of Mikhail Mamulashvili and his contribution to the art of gardening. This place will be of interest both to nature lovers and gardeners, and to those who appreciate the cultural heritage and history of Georgia.
