Guest house "OLD WALL"

We booked in advance using booking.com, but when we arrived, the owner told us he no longer worked with them due to some financial issue. Even though the rooms were available, we couldn't stay there. The alternative he suggested didn't work out and seemed unimportant to him. Fortunately, our taxi driver was kind enough to help us out, or we could have been stuck there on a cold January night.

Видно, что хозяева поддерживают порядок на высочайшем уровне. Если для вас важна безупречная чистота, это место - ваш выбор.

Невероятная атмосфера - как будто попал в дом к старому другу. Почувствовал настоящее грузинское гостеприимство. Отличные завтраки и вкусы ужина остались в памяти надолго. Особенная благодарность Пауло за помощь в организации треккинга - все прошло идеально.

Магическое место! Энергия доброты и радушия буквально витает в воздухе. Чувствуется, что здесь каждый уголок пропитан душой хозяев. Сама обстановка уютная и современная, тут понимаешь, что комфорт может сочетаться с искренним гостеприимством. Рекомендую всем!

Идеально провел время в местечке, где каждый уголок дышит красотой и уютом. Дизайн номеров и ванных так и просит фотоаппарат в руки — чисто, удобно и со вкусом. Вернусь сюда снова.

Шум реки за окном, горы на горизонте, и вы просыпаетесь с чувством, что попали в сказку. Простой, но уютный мирок, где с вами обращаются как с долгожданными гостями, а не постояльцами.

Просторные и безупречные номера, дружелюбные хозяева и невероятное окружение. Превосходит ожидания.

The experience was absolutely fantastic! The rooms are clean, modern, and very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding, some of the best food I’ve enjoyed in Georgia. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the town center and the Black Grouse Trail. The highlight for me was the host family; they are truly amazing, kind, and incredibly welcoming. They made me feel like part of their family! If you’re planning a visit, this is the place to stay!

Sehr freundliche und herzliche Gastgeber. Alles ist sauber und ordentlich. Diese Unterkunft besticht nicht nur durch den schönen Garten, sondern auch durch das besondere Design der Zimmer und Bäder. Absolut empfehlenswert.

A truly wonderful guest house we discovered on our journey through Georgia. The hosts were incredible.

Incredibly welcoming place with spotless rooms that have private bathrooms. The breakfast and dinner options are excellent if desired. It was our top accommodation in Georgia. Paulo assists with everything and offers rides to the trekking routes.

ΦΟΒΕΡΟ!!!!!! Ένα από τα πιο όμορφα και καλαίσθητα δωμάτια που έχουμε επισκεφθεί. Παρόλο που η πόλη είναι σε άθλια κατάσταση, θα ξαναπήγαινα μόνο και μόνο για το κατάλυμα και τους φιλικούς και φιλόξενους ιδιοκτήτες. Όσο για το πρωινό, ήταν ανεπανάληπτο!!!!!!

Die Gastgeber sind außerordentlich freundlich und kümmern sich sehr um das Wohl der Gäste. Das Frühstück ist köstlich und sehr umfangreich. Gegen Aufpreis wird auch Abendessen angeboten, das neben georgischen Spezialitäten köstliches Frischgegrilltes beinhaltet. Die Zimmer sind äußerst sauber, ansprechend gestaltet und mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

This guesthouse is the most beautiful one we've visited in Georgia so far. The top room's design is nearly flawless, reminiscent more of boutique hotels than a typical guesthouse. The owners are friendly and attentive, and speaking Russian makes communication lively and enjoyable. Nodar has a charming, eccentric uncle vibe, while Marina is kind and cooks delicious meals. We wanted to extend our stay, but heavy rain made it difficult. A note for future guests: the top floor room has no door, just stairs. If we return to the Lagodekhi area, this will be our first choice to revisit.

Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip to Georgia. Marina and Nadar are amazing hosts, making everyone feel at home. It’s clear why some guests choose to extend their stay. We appreciated being able to leave our things while hiking to Black Rock Lake. The food was excellent, and the wine was just as good. The beds are extremely soft, which might not be comfortable for everyone. I would definitely recommend this place!
