"Parking attendants" on the streets of Tbilisi: free and paid public parking.
As in many cities, in Tbilisi, not everything is smooth with parking. Therefore, there are so-called "parking attendants". They stand on the streets and help people find a parking spot.
By itself, parking in Tbilisi is free in most places, but it is customary to give "parking attendants" a small amount. As a rule, from fifty tetris to one lari, a maximum of two. One lari is about 22-23 Russian rubles. Many locals give only when the "parking attendant" really helped or when they just feel sorry for the person. In general, to give or not to give, it's up to you to decide.
Also in Tbilisi, there is still an opportunity to pay for paid state parking, although this will not save you from "parking attendants" who demand to pay for their services.
