This city has an interesting history and several legends. In addition, Signagi has several amusing nicknames, one of which sounds like "Misha City. This name refers to the former president of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili. It was his idea to turn the city of Signagi into one of the tourist centers of Georgia, the realization of which has been quite successful.
