In 1912, when he was a student, he took samples of waters to St. Petersburg for research. It turned out that the curative properties of these waters were equal to those of the waters known at that time. In the 30s of XX century there were built health centers, spa infrastructure was created, a road was built to connect the resort with Baghdadi. In 1945 the factory method of bottling mineral water began.

Sairme resort is located in Baghdadi municipality, on the northern slope of the Meskheti range, in the valley of the Tsablistskali river. It is 1100 meters above sea level and is located in a mountainous area. The climate of the resort is characteristic of the subtropical belt of the forest zones of the middle mountains. Winters are moderately cold, and summers are moderately warm and moderately humid. The average annual rainfall is 1000-1100 mm and the average annual relative humidity is 80%.
