This shattered sandstone boulder is still located near Kvareli. It is 5,8x4,2x4 meters in size and weighs 224 tons.
Though, the sand and silt brought by the river have high stickiness and are used for production of cement, wall blocks and other building materials. In 5 kilometers to the east of Kvareli, a reservoir called "Ilia Lake", named after the great Georgian writer and public figure Ilia Chavchavadze, was created by flooding Duruji.
The lake is an entertainment and health center.
