There are many lakes in the territories. The largest is Paravani (which is the largest lake in all of Georgia). The highest point here is mountain Didi Abuli (3300 meters above sea level). Among other things, the Javakheti highlands is the coldest place where people live, in all of Georgia. The lakes here freeze for a long time in winter. The climate is dry continental.

The Samsari range is famous for its flora. There are about 62 species of plants, only 3 of which are native, 14 are attributed to the species of the Caucasus, and the rest sprouted in the southern Transcaucasia and Asia Minor. As for endemic species, the marsh ecosystem is described with 15 plant species: 12 of them are endemics of the Caucasus and 3 of them are endemics of Georgia.
Javakheti will amaze you with its magnificent views, volcanic surfaces, unique plants, pristine lakes, and pastures that you won't see elsewhere. All this is worth seeing.
