Kutaisi Garden

Sights of Georgia – these are not only cultural and architectural monuments, but also favorite places for local residents to relax.

"Boulevard" is the name of the Kutaisi garden. It is considered a favorable place for walking and recreation and is located in the very center of the city. The garden appeared in 1821. Ornamental plants, fruit trees, and grapes grow in it. In addition, the garden even has its own vegetable garden.

At the beginning of the last century, the garden was not just a place to relax. Public figures of that era gathered there and called the garden the "Kutaisi Parliament".

The "Boulevard" is built in the shape of a quadrangle. Two alleys have been erected on its edge. Two more alleys criss-cross the garden in its middle.

If you don't know what to see in Georgia, then the Kutaisi Garden will become not only your favorite place to spend time, but also interest you in the monuments located in it. These are monuments to Akaki Tsereteli, Zakaria Paliashvili, the Ishkhneli Sisters, as well as a Memorial to April 9.
