This historic church, dating back to the 10th century, is a striking example of medieval Georgian architecture. It is designed in the form of a hall with annexes on the southern and western sides, and has a rectangular apse on the eastern side. The interior space is supported by arches, and remarkable architectural elements such as arched doors and domes make the temple unique. 🏛️

Ancient carved elements, deep carvings and lapidary inscriptions decorate both the exterior and interior of the temple. In the southern part of the temple, an inscription indicates that it was built in the year 1000. The interior of the church is decorated with frescoes, which adds sophistication and beauty. 🖌️
