Memorial House-Museum of Lado Asatiani: historical heritage of Georgia.

In Lechkhumi there is a small village called Bardnala. It is located a short distance from Tsageri. Here, on the slope, there is still an Imeretian house in the "ode" style, in which the house-museum of Lado Asatiani was established in 1971. Of the exhibits presented in it, the most interesting are the poet's notebook, in which the first poems of his poetic work were entered. Here is also the famous poem written by Lado Asatiani "The Rustle of Our Plane Tree", the first poems published in the magazine "Chveni Taoba" (Our Generation) - "Motherland", "Ilya Chavchavadze" and "Three Poems about Spain".
In 1841, when the poet's health deteriorated, he submitted his first collection of poems, Ancestors, to the Federation publishing house, which was published in 1943. The author was sent 10 copies. Apart from these ten, the collection of poems was not distributed.
It was cut up and destroyed as a book of anti-Soviet content. The museum displays one of these ten remaining copies of the book.

Asatiani submitted the manuscript to the Federation Publishing House, but the collection was not distributed due to its anti-Soviet content, and only 10 copies were printed and sent to the author. Currently, only one of these ten remaining copies of the book is in the Lado Asatiani Museum in Bardnal.
