Memorial House-Museum of Lado Asatiani: historical heritage of Georgia.
The Lado Asatiani House Museum invites visitors to plunge into the life and work of the famous Georgian poet, preserving his legacy.
There is a small village called Bardnala in Lechkhumi. It is separated from Tsageri by a small distance. Here, on a slope, there is still an Imeretian house in the style of "oda", in which the house-museum of Lado Asatiani was established in 1971. Among the exhibits on display there is the poet's notebook, in which the first poems of his poetic creativity were included. Here is a famous poem written by Lado Asatiani "The rustling of our sycamore", the first poems published in the magazine "Chveni Taoba" (Our Generation) - "Native Land," "Ilya Chavchavadze" and "Three poems about Spain.
In 1841, when the health of the poet became complicated, he handed over to the publishing house "Federation" the first collection of poems "Ancestors", which was published in 1943. The author was sent ten copies. Except for these ten, the collection of poems was not distributed.
It was shredded and destroyed as an anti-Soviet book. One of these ten remaining copies of the book is on display in the museum.
