The first floor of the Chokhatauri Regional History Museum by Niko Berdzenishvili presents an exhibition of various exhibits found as a result of excavations. Here you will find tools and weapons from the Bronze Age, clay vessels, various decorations, silver daggers and so on. The museum has a total of 16500 exhibits.
The Niko Berdzenishvili Chokhatauri Local History Museum was founded on the initiative of Georgian scientists Niko Berdzenishvili and Akaki Shanidze.
On the first floor a variety of archaeological finds are exhibited: battle weapons and tools of the Bronze Age and ancient era, pottery, bracelets, beads and others, as well as rich ethnographic material: silver-plated daggers of the 19th century, sabers, rifles with trim, dishes and furniture, household items, musical items - changi, panduri, salamuri, polyphone (musical cabinet), numismatic collections.
On the second floor are materials reflecting the history of Chokhatauri. In total 16500 exhibits.
