The Nikolaadze House Museum is located in the former home of the famous scientist. The house contains a large collection of memorabilia: a variety of library, family furniture, samples of achievements in technology era of the scholar's life. It is definitely recommended to visit this museum.
The museum is located in the house of the Georgian scientist, publicist and public figure Niko Nikoladze (1843-1928), which is located on the territory of a unique botanical park, cultivated by Niko Nikoladze himself.
Niko Nikoladze made a great contribution to the exploration and processing of manganese and mines in Georgia, construction of Poti port, building of the first Transcaucasian railroad Tbilisi-Poti, design and construction of the tunnel in Surami, building of the water pipe in Avchala, etc.
The museum contains memorial items of Niko Nikoladze and his family, a rich library, European furniture, photographs, documents, samples of the latest technological achievements of that era, brought by Niko Nikoladze from different countries, such as a Kodak camera, wind engine, washing machine, solar clock, etc.
