Travel plan
The first day
The hike starts from the main entrance to the park. The load is more than moderate, since no climbing is expected.
The second day
Today the route will be somewhat more difficult, as there will be descents and ascents. But we will see the shepherds' houses and walk from Lomismta Orphanage to Amarati.
The third day
The whole day the road goes downhill, so the walk will be easy and relaxing. And that's where our journey ends.
Before you go along the shepherds' trail, please note that you must first contact the visitor center of the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. The staff will help with the booking of the tourist shelter and other issues.
