An example of Georgian hospitality is the capital of Georgia - Tbilisi. The warmest welcome is given by the inhabitants to all tourists. Tbilisi itself is divided into two parts: the old and new city. In its old part, everyone can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Georgian culture, to visit many interesting places, such as the old quarters of the city and ancient temples. The contrast is created by the new part of Tbilisi - the center with modern technology. In addition, there is a landmark that is worth seeing at least once in a lifetime - the Peace Bridge.
Yerevan is the oldest city and capital of Armenia, which is famous all over the world for its architectural appearance. Everyone who decides to visit this country should come here. The new buildings with walls of pink stone are the peculiar visiting card of the city. It charges with positive energy and creates a mood for the whole day. A favorite place among tourists is the central square with a fountain.
Border crossing
Visa-free travel applies to both Georgia and Armenia; the only thing required is a passport. However, in the case of Georgia, tourists may encounter difficulties when crossing the state border if their passport contains notes that they have previously visited such countries as Abkhazia and South Ossetia. This is connected with the stereotype of the Georgian side that Russia has occupied these territories.
Armenia has a calmer attitude than Georgia. Despite difficult political relations with Azerbaijan, no difficulties will arise (even if this state has been visited before).
Transportation
A reliable way to cross the Georgian border is by air. Direct flights between Moscow and Tbilisi are operated daily by S7, Aeroflot and Georgian Airlines. The cost of a one way ticket is around 6000 rubles, the flight takes 3 hours.
You can get to Tbilisi by bus. The journey by bus usually takes 30 hours; the ticket price is around 4500 rubles.

- Abanotubani is home to the Sulfur Baths, thanks to which the city of Tbilisi itself appeared. Legend has it that the ruler of the city accidentally discovered the hot springs while hunting a pheasant. The bird fell into the water and boiled, which is how the springs were discovered. After this incident, the city of Tbilisi began to grow around the springs. These bathhouses should be visited by every tourist. They work until late at night, and around the baths themselves are very picturesque places, and that is why you can get a lot of impressions, even if you just visit their surroundings.

Yerevan also has a sufficient number of cultural monuments.
- The history of Yerevan dates back to the construction of Erebuni fortress, which is about 3000 years old. Its historical significance is confirmed by artifacts found during excavations. Among other things, an abundance of ancient structures and fortress walls can attract the attention of every tourist. In addition, from the hill, where the fortress Erebuni is located, there is a stunning view of Yerevan and the famous Mount Ararat.
- The main decoration of the Armenian capital is the Republic Square, where singing fountains are installed. There is also the National Art Gallery with an extensive collection of paintings. But a visit to the Republic Square would not be complete without the Yerevan Historical Museum of Armenia. Here you can learn about the sorrowful pages in the history of the state and the nation, which are set out in the memorial complex Tsitsernakaberd. The complex itself was built as a monument to the times of genocide against Armenians.
- The Geghard Monastery Complex is also a landmark. This shrine was carved in stone back in the 4th century in the place where there used to be holy springs. The original building was destroyed by the Arabs, and the constructions of XII-XIII centuries were preserved up to now. The temple had a great historical value because it held the spear with which Longinus pierced the heart of the crucified Jesus Christ. Today the monastery buildings offer a beautiful view of the capital. Moreover, this complex is recognized as one of the most interesting places in the country, full of mysteries and secrets.
- It is also worth visiting the ancient ruins near Yerevan that were reconstructed after being destroyed by an earthquake - the Temple of the Waking Angels.
