Round trail of the Tana Gorge in Georgia

What can a tourist see in the ancient Tana Gorge? This is an amazing place, a landmark of Georgia, which is protected by the state. A mountain trail rushes from the dark heart of the gorge to the bright sun.

Her path begins at the ruins of the Ateni Zion Church. Passing the church, the trail follows the gorge of the Damchkeri River, turns to the west and touches the mountain range. Her path continues along the left slope of the mountain to the place where the outlines of a man-made pond are guessed. There the trail closes its circular path, embracing the most beautiful places of Georgia.
