The starting point is the village of Liheti. From here, moving north, we head towards the place of overnight stay (camping). The location of the campsite is very picturesque, as the confluence of two rivers is located very close: Heobis Tskali and Seruli. And on the other side – the ruins of the monastery of Mechvreti.

After spending the night here, we go further along the right bank of the Seruli River. Along the way we will see the springs that feed the Seruli: Heobis Rocks and the river Jrinavi. So we will reach the point 3,066 m above sea level – this is the Kelida pass. Then the road goes down to the gorge of the Gobishuri River. If you walk another 1 km, then several lakes will open up in front of you, one after the other. Here we offer to spend the night.
In the morning we continue our way and pass by summer farms. If you want to spend the night after the second day, you can stay here. Today we will cross the tributary of the Gobishuri River and pass through the Tsshenishuri Gorge. The final destination of our route– the village of Shkedi.
It is worth noting that there will be no shortage of drinking water on the road.
Physically, the route does not require much endurance, and its duration is 2-3 days, depending on your strength.
