Batumi Art Pedagogical University (BATU) is a public educational institution located in the city of Batumi, Georgia. Founded in 1995, BATU is one of the youngest and most innovative universities in the country specializing in the fields of art and education.
The university campus is located in the picturesque city of Batumi and is equipped with everything necessary for a full-fledged educational process. The university has a library, which, in addition to educational materials in various scientific fields, includes a rich collection of classical and modern works of art. Students are provided with all opportunities for sports, including sports fields and a variety of sports sections.
BATU is unique in that it is the only higher education institution of arts in Batumi offering training in all four main areas of art: cinema, theater, music and fine arts. Education at the university is carried out at two levels - bachelor's and master's degrees, and there are also graduate programs.
Educational programs at BATU are conducted by highly qualified arts specialists working in Batumi, as well as visiting professors from partner higher education institutions. University teachers are actively engaged in pedagogical, professional, executive and scientific activities, enriching the educational process with their experience and knowledge.
