“Rebirth” is an impressive mural in Batumi from the famous street artist Judith de Leeuw (JDL Street Art), known for her works around the world. This work of art became part of the Batumi Mural Fest 2024 and embodies the unbreakable spirit of the Georgian people.
The mural depicts two women: The first, in the lower left corner, symbolizes difficulties and trials. Her gaze is directed upward - it is full of pain, but also of hope. The artist herself notes that the mural is a tribute to Georgian perseverance. He conveys the very “spirit of a warrior” that is inherent in the Georgian people, who have gone through centuries of struggle, but have not lost their strength and endurance.
