On Gorgasali Street, amid the everyday bustle of Batumi, the mural “Abstraction” rises like an artificial oasis. This majestic canvas of a concrete wall comes to life thanks to the artistry of Ecuadorian artist Roberto Rivadeneira.

His style, a unique combination of constructivism, modernism and abstract expressionism, reflects the desire for geometric clarity of form and, at the same time, for a bright, emotional explosion of color. Rectangles and circles, painted in warm sea and sunny shades, become a reference to the location and beneficial climate of Batumi.
