Soya is a mini stall (small kiosk) in the Turkish Quarter area, specializing in soy products and vegan fast food.
Despite its modest size, Soya offers unique items for Batumi: soy ice cream, homemade fresh tofu, vegan soy milk-based desserts, tofu pies, and even vegan lasagna.
The format is more like street food – most guests take treats with them or snack outside.
Visitors praise the quality and warmth of this place: everything is prepared manually with care for health, prices are reasonable, and the hosts are very friendly.
For example, on a hot day, you can refresh yourself with a scoop of vegetable ice cream, and for lunch, take a portion of vegetable stew with tofu.
According to Yandex.Maps, Soya has a high rating of 4.9/5, although there are few reviews so far (the cafe opened around 2023).
In 2023, travelers reported that Soya is almost the only place in the city where you can buy natural tofu and soy milk, which especially helps vegans on long–term stays.
Important: the cafe has an unstable menu – some items may be temporarily unavailable. Also keep in mind that, according to HappyCow, not all items may be strictly vegan (in July 2023, it was reported that some contained, for example, honey), so check the composition with the seller.
In general, Cafe Soya is a wonderful corner for vegans, where you can have a healthy and delicious snack in the shade of trees, feeling real care from the owners.
