The Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Batumi is the official representation of Iran in Georgia. This is where Iranian citizens living or staying in the Republic of Georgia should contact to resolve issues related to documents, obtain information and assistance in legal matters. The Consulate General also represents Iranian interests and conducts diplomatic negotiations at the local level.
As part of its duties, the consulate provides assistance in obtaining visas, registering marriages, births and deaths, as well as in matters related to immigration and citizenship. This can be called a “bridge” between Iran and Georgia, helping to maintain friendly relations between the two countries.
In case of emergency situations such as disasters, accidents or crimes, the consulate provides advice and support to Iranian citizens on the territory of Georgia. In addition, it actively cooperates with local organizations and institutions, participates in public life and organizes various cultural events that reveal Iranian culture and traditions for residents and guests of Batumi.
