The Sou Kso Cemetery allows you to get acquainted with Georgian traditions and understand how Georgians relate to death and cope with it.
There is a peculiar tradition in Georgia: a table is located on each plot under a small canopy, where relatives and friends gather and hold memorial meals at the grave of a relative.
Most of the sites are surrounded by wrought-iron fences, and the tombstones are most often made of black marble, on which a clear portrait of a person is engraved.
There is also a small church in the cemetery where you can pray or leave a note for the repose or for the health of the family.
