The estate of Prince Baryatinsky on Cape Verde

The estate of Prince Baryatinsky, built at the end of the 19th century, is located on Cape Verde near Batumi. The probable owner was the nephew of Prince Alexander Ivanovich Baryatinsky - Alexander Anatolyevich. At the beginning of the 20th century, the dacha became the property of old lady Styur, who received guests, including Mikhail Bulgakov in 1929.

After 1953, the dacha became a closed residence for high-ranking officials and partially became part of the Batumi Botanical Garden. Now the territory is partially accessible to visitors, but access to the building is limited.

The estate is located 15 minutes by taxi from the city center. Here, surrounded by nature, you can feel the atmosphere of old Georgia and enjoy incredible views of the Black Sea.
