Public beach at the port (on the way from the port to the railway station)
- Description
Despite the fact that the beach near the port may not have originally been specially equipped for vacationers, it has become a popular place among locals and tourists. Located next to the port, this beach has a mixture of pebbles and black sand, which gives it a special character.
Despite the less than ideal condition of the water and coastal zone, many people find their own corner for relaxation in this place. The beach begins to come to life early in the morning, and the first daredevils who want to sunbathe or just spend time in the fresh air can be seen from 7-8 in the morning.
In addition, its location makes it an excellent starting point for visiting nearby attractions:
- Batumi railway station is an important transport hub of the city.
- Batumi Fish Market, where you can taste the freshest seafood and get acquainted with the local trading culture.
Located far from the city center. You can take a taxi or bus to the stop: 1486 - Tamar Mepe (if coming from Batumi); or to the stop: 1287 - Odyssey Dimitriadi Street (if coming from Makhinjauri). There are buses No. 3, No. 6, No. 8, No. 10, No. 10a.
Around the clock

Visiting this beach was a nightmare. Tar and waste products were everywhere, both on the shore and in the sea. I had to scrub black residue off my feet for over an hour. The beach was littered with trash and sticks. I even stepped in sticky resin. Horrible experience!

Вероятно, это не задумывалось как пляж, но постоянные посетители несмотря на грязную воду. Начинают приходить уже к 7-8 утра.
