The area around the accommodation has only one restaurant, and communication can be challenging as English is not widely spoken. Russian tends to be the main language used. There are a few small shops nearby, including one right next door. However, for better shopping options, you'll need to walk about 1 km to reach a market. Getting around usually requires a taxi.
