Gremi Museum. Gremi-Nekresi Museum-Reserve

The Gremi-Nekresi Museum-Reserve was founded in 1975 in the residence of the kings of Kakheti. In 2011, a full-scale restoration of the museum complex was completed, after which the main exposition dedicated to the reign of Tsar Levan was opened. Historical documents, royal letters and seals, clothing, military weapons and the royal crown have been preserved in the exhibition hall.
On the territory of the reserve there is an ancient church of the Archangels Michael and Gabriel, built in the middle of the XVI century by decree of Tsar Levan of Kakheti. Special attention in this amazing cross-domed temple should be paid to the artful paintings. Also in the museum you can see a wine cellar, a bell tower and the ruins of an underground tunnel leading to the river.
The museum fund keeps a rich collection of ethnographic and archaeological exhibits: a wine vessel, household items and tools, handmade jewelry, ceramic and clay products.

Когда я вижу название "Заповедник", у меня сразу появляется желание попасть в это место только потому, что здесь можно увидеть "в живую", то что сейчас в фильмах можно увидеть. А еще можно украдкой! прикоснуться к IV, V, XIV веку., почувствовать холод времени в своей руке. Какое чувство? Трудно передать..Экспонаты впечатляют. Этот музей нужно посетить.Советую.

Прочитала статью о музейно-заповеднике Греми-Некреси, и это было увлекательно! Место кажется живым уголком истории, где каждый камень и экспонат рассказывает свою историю. Особенно заинтересовали описания древних церквей и искусные росписи. Так много всего неизведанного и прекрасного хранит Грузия. Теперь мне очень хочется посетить это место и увидеть все своими глазами!
