Accounting and consulting company "ARG GROUP"

I would like to share my negative experience with ARG Group, the accounting firm that I chose to serve my company. My experience with ARG Group left much to be desired and I feel a responsibility to warn others against similar issues.
At the beginning of my cooperation with ARG Group, I made the mistake of paying for their services in cash without receiving any receipt or invoice. This lack of documentation has left me concerned about ARG Group's transparency and professionalism.
My main goal in using the services of ARG Group was to obtain a VAT refund for my company. However, after four months of waiting, I was provided with a screenshot claiming that the refund had been approved by the Russian Tax Service. But when I decided to work with another accountant, it turned out that the return was never approved. In fact, ARG Group simply stopped responding to requests from the Russian Tax Service, and the provided screenshot turned out to be unrelated to the approval, but only reflected the balance after submitting applications. As a result, the Russian Tax Service assumed that my company had ceased cooperation with ARG Group.
Having tried to clarify the situation with ARG Group, I was faced with an unprofessional and unsatisfactory attitude. They accepted no responsibility for their actions and expressed satisfaction that the new accountant would be able to sort out the situation. This attitude only increased my disappointment.
My dissatisfaction increased when I requested a refund for services provided by ARG Group. However, they refused to return the money, emphasizing their disagreement with compensating for the costs of services not provided. This refusal underscored my conclusion that ARG Group is unethical and untrustworthy.
Based on my experience, I strongly do not recommend seeking accounting services from ARG Group. Their lack of professionalism, false statements, lack of response during the audit and refusal to refund fees indicate their disregard for the interests of clients.
I hope my review serves as a warning to those looking for accounting services. It is important to choose professionals who place great importance on transparency, responsibility and ethical standards.

To begin with, I made the mistake of paying ARG Group for their services in cash without receiving a receipt or invoice. This lack of documentation raised concerns about the transparency and professionalism of ARG Group's practices.

My primary reason for engaging the services of ARG Group was to obtain a VAT refund for my company. However, after four months of waiting, ARG Group provided me with a screenshot claiming that the refund had been approved by RS (Revenue Service). This news initially seemed promising, but as I hired a new accountant, I discovered the truth: the refund was never approved. In fact, during an ongoing audit, ARG Group simply ceased responding to RS inquiries. The screenshot I was provided with turned out to be unrelated to any approval but rather reflected the balance after declarations were made. It appeared that RS assumed my company had been abandoned due to ARG Group's lack of cooperation.

When I confronted ARG Group regarding these discrepancies, their response was unprofessional and unsatisfactory. They showed no accountability for their actions and instead expressed their satisfaction that my new accountant would handle the situation. This dismissive and nonchalant attitude further compounded my frustration.

Adding to my dissatisfaction, when I requested a refund of the fees I had paid to ARG Group, they flatly refused. This refusal to reimburse me for services that were not delivered only solidified my belief that ARG Group's practices were unethical and untrustworthy.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise against engaging the services of ARG Group for your accounting needs. Their lack of professionalism, false claims of approval, unresponsiveness during an audit, and refusal to refund the fees demonstrate a clear disregard for their clients' best interests.
