Good wine in Batumi, where to look?
Sergei.
Elena.
Of course, this is in wine houses, it is allowed before purchase (I advise you to do it necessarily!) tasting.
If you are driving your car, then it will not be difficult to get to the village of Adjaristskali, twenty kilometers from Batumi. Here the wine house is Adjarian. The winery was built in the eighteenth century, to this day in the same place.
A large number of wines, a tasting room, a wine cellar, cellars. White wine has a wonderful taste – dry, semi-dry. Porto Franco is an amazing, pink wine – it is for him that wine lovers hunt, you can buy only in this village and nowhere else.
Forty-five kilometers from Batumi in the village of Pirveli Maisi is the house of wines of Nodar Sharvashidze. The fortress, the aroma of the local wine is special because of storage in oak barrels. From myself I will advise the wine – Chhaveri.
The village of Vaio, also 45 kilometers from Batumi. There is even a small tour waiting for you. A married couple contain Lado Shavishvili, they will definitely offer to taste all the wines, they will conduct their household. Wine is stored in earthenware buried in the ground. They will show the process of crushing grape juice.
Nuri Sarabidze's wine house is located in the place of Gegelidzeebi, it is 50 kilometers from Batumi. A large vineyard has been planted here, and the wine is corked in barrels and jugs. You can try and choose chacha.
The village of Dandalo, which is an hour's drive from Batumi. The Avaliani brothers have a cellar in which, to my taste, Krahuna and Tsitska are good.
Without leaving Batumi, you can enjoy a good wine in the BQ bar. Cozy at home, first of all – cheese slicing, vegetables, barbecue. And after the menu is served.
Unfiltered wines created according to an old Georgian recipe can be purchased in Batumi along A. Melashvili Street. It is called the wine room of Batumi. The taste is amazing, the assortment is large.
Andrey.
We bought wine at the Khareba winery on Gamsakhurdia Street. However, a year ago, the Alazani Valley – 9 lari (200 rubles now), Kindzmarauli – 19 lari (430 rubles today).
In the basement of the store there is a tasting room-hall and wine on tap. We liked it very much, especially in Batumi itself, we didn't have to go anywhere. They also brought me home!
