Often, when traveling by air, travelers face the problem of luggage weight, or more specifically, exceeding the weight limit, whether it's a suitcase or carry-on baggage. As you know, airlines require additional payment for every extra kilogram of luggage beyond the established norm. What should you do in such cases?

People who frequently travel by air have learned life hacks for bypassing weight control and are happy to share them on social media. For example, there was recently an interesting debate on Rabbit about how to take more luggage with you and not overpay.

Some suggested choosing soft-sided bags instead of hard-sided ones, as the latter are heavier in themselves. Suitcases are also heavy in themselves and, moreover, quite bulky, while bags are lighter and smaller in size.

They also proposed an interesting way to bypass weight control: instead of folding clothes into bags, wear them on yourself and distribute as many items as possible into your pockets. Some even create a makeshift bag from the lining of their clothes, placing various items there.

Australian clothing designers even developed a coat called The Airport Jacket, which can hold up to 15 kilograms of luggage. It looks like an ordinary outerwear, but has zippered pockets inside, which can even fit a laptop.

There are both men's and women's coats, as well as winter and autumn versions. Moreover, the Australians emphasized not only the spaciousness but also the style of this product.
