Svaneti is a mountainous province with several unusual peaks. The height of Tetnudli reaches almost five thousand meters, glaciers drain from here. Ushba peak has a height of 4700 meters. This is the most inaccessible peak of the Caucasus and Europe. The height of the Shkhara is 5201 meters – the highest of all peaks.

Tetnuldi Peak is located at the source of the Inguri River, on the border with Russia. Its height above sea level is 4853 meters. Glaciers flowing down from here create a unique landscape. In Svan, "tetne" stands for white, "uld" is a diminutive suffix.
Ushba peak, located at an altitude of 4700 meters above sea level, is two-headed. The northern peak is 10 meters higher than the southern one. Ushba is the most difficult peak in the Caucasus and in Europe. The name "Ushba", which in Svan means "storm in the mountains", accurately reflects the harsh natural conditions of this peak. There are many legends associated with Ushba, most of which tell about the tragic story of the goddess Dali and the hunter Betkili.
Shkhara is the highest peak of Georgia. It is located at an altitude of 5,201 meters above sea level, on the highest section of the Central Caucasian Ridge and is part of a unique 12-kilometer mountain range known as the Bezengi Wall. Geographers and mountaineers call Shkhara "Svan Alps". It is covered with snow and glaciers. In Svan, "shkhara" means a white line.
