Machis-tsikhe Toga is a unique monument of antiquity, in which the church and the military fortress are united, almost into one.

The structures responsible for the cultural heritage of Georgia restored the fortress in 2016. They restored the cultural monument by grounding the inside of the fortress (it was necessary), freed the cornices and restored them, and also repaired the walls. Thanks to the timely reconstruction of the cultural heritage monument, thousands of tourists and locals can plunge into history.
