The temple of Lomis is located on a fairly high ridge between two Georgian rivers. Today this place is a symbol of Georgian architecture of the 10th century. The architectural complex consists of a temple, a bell tower and a place to say goodbye to the deceased. Over the course of some time, a Christian church was built in its place.

A huge number of legends are associated with this temple, which turn out to be quite mystical for tourists. A huge chain is stored here. As the legend says, if you make a wish and carry the chain three times around the temple, your wish will definitely come true.

Locals celebrate the holiday in this temple. It is celebrated in the seventh week after Easter. Within twenty-four hours, tens of thousands of pilgrims of all ages from all over the country ascend to the building.
